We often look back on the 80's and 90's and think about the likes of famous tv programmes, such as the ones mentioned in the a-z of this site but back then it wasnt just the tv programmes making the headlines.
Its not often that an advert of today can and will continue to stick in your mind and live long in history like many of those remembered from the 80s and 90s. Whether it be down to the shear tackiness, or just the simple but catchy slogans like " FOR MASH GET SMASH !!! or DO THE SHAKE AND VAC AND PUT THE FRESHNESS BACK" and exactly how long would that bottle of Fairy go?. These adverts are now some of the most talked about to date and lay high up on the archives of such video search engines like YouTube. This cant be bad for a mere 50 second clip for what was often a very ordinary household product.
